The petrol motor is capable of producing 367bhp and 500Nm of torque, while the latter is tuned to produce 330bhp and 700Nm of torque. A nine-speed automatic transmission is standard across the line-up.

The model is available in five colours including Designo Diamond White, Onyx Black, Anthracite Blue, Rubellite Red, and Emrald Green.
Inside, the new-gen Mercedes-Benz S-Class comes equipped with a 12.3-inch tablet-like touchscreen infotainment system, a large free-standing screen that acts as the instrument cluster, illuminated belt buckles, Nappa leather interiors, and a Burmester-sourced music system.
